HOTEL AZZI, Florence – A Smart Stay in the City

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were small but clean, with a great shower and a comfortable bed. However, I felt that a paint touch-up on the walls was necessary. The service was friendly and very helpful, guiding us on where to go and even securing discounts for us. The location was convenient, within walking distance of all the main attractions. The dining options were basic but satisfactory, although the breakfast could have been more varied. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.

The hotel was conveniently located just 2 minutes from Santa Maria Novella Station, offering spacious and clean rooms, though there was a slight odor issue. The service was friendly and helpful, providing guidance on local attractions and amenities. The dining experience provided delicious options, but the early breakfast start time may not be ideal for travelers with early schedules.

The hotel's rooms had a slightly 'old' smell upon entry, but they were perfect for our group of four. The overpowering air freshener caused congestion among us all, and the room, while decent, lacked the charming old-school feel of the rest of the hotel. The service was exceptionally nice and accommodating, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and caring. The location was excellent, being near both the train station and key tourist attractions in Florence, although the process of finding the hotel was exhausting and stressful initially. The dining experience was average, with a simple menu offering bacon and eggs with hash browns on the side. We found the facilities to be okay, though nothing exceptionally remarkable.

I had a great time at the hotel, especially being right in the center of the city. The rooms were of a good size and the staff was really nice and friendly. It was very affordable, though not the most luxurious place I've stayed at. Overall, a good experience!
